No pills, no surgeries, no magic potions - I am a clinician that focuses on lifestyle changes rather than medications for real sustainable weight-loss. Over the course of four years, I sustainably lost and have kept off 121-pounds through healthy lifestyle modifications and established myself as a health leader in the profession by fusing my education in primary care and dietetics.
Residing in northern Kentucky, I am a licensed and certified family nurse practitioner with additional dietetic university training, and educating and coaching clients to not have to worry about dieting again is my specialty. My goal is to make you leaner, more energetic, happier, and most importantly – healthier. Climbing the academic ladder towards earning my doctorate in 2018, I implemented a weight-loss maintenance behavior competency assessment to predict a client's likelihood of keeping the weight off for good. In addition to my medical background, I am a certified personal trainer through the NASM and a certified nutrition consultant with NAMS.
Due to frustrations with the current healthcare culture, I left primary care medicine and established The Diet Doc with partners Drs. Joe Klemczewski and Kori Propst. It's a virtual consultatory practice designed to teach clients how to stop yo-yo dieting by merging the best nutritional science and ongoing support to create a sustainable plan right for them. By creating and establishing rapport, I partner with clients and fully educate them on preventative health measures through nutrition, exercise, and psychology of change. This ultimately leads to living and practicing a healthy and more fulfilling life.

The Diet Doc system is a much different approach than anything else I've ever tried. I liked the science behind it and the fact that it was geared toward my personal needs instead of being a cookie-cutter diet that was the same thing for everyone.
