As the world opens back to a new normal, social distancing is still important. Needing some ideas for engaging with family, friends, or just self-care for yourself after a stressful several months?
Here are some mindful activities:
1) Clear out your online shopping cart wishlist:
if you have had your eye on something for some time click on the "check-out" button and pamper yourself (remember to support local businesses:) ).
2) Engage in a wellness activity:
Go for a run/hike; dance; 30 minute breathing exercise; 30 minute meditation. Invite others or do a zoom meditation to connect with others in a healthy way.
3) Glow up your skin:
Do at-home facials with friends, family or just pamper yourself (Be sure to check out
Jacqueline's facial wellness
for great tips!!).
4) Invite your friends to a group video (wine?) party:
Throw a virtual party! Prepare food for yourself or do a social distance yard party. Make it a wine night (if you wish) and cheers to more life, joy and connection!
5) Try reflexology:
Research has shown that certain trigger points in our hands and feet are linked to different organs and can help with rejuvenating and energizing different areas of the body. Google a reflexology map or check out this site to help to alleviate any ailments or stressors in the body :

6) Treat yourself to a homemade Honey Sugar Body Scrub:
Exfoliate that dead winter skin with a nourishing body scrub. Combine honey with brown sugar and coconut oil in a mixing bowl. Mix them thoroughly (and add more coconut oil if it is too crumbly). Put your scrub in a container and use it in the shower or divvy it up and show some love to neighbors or friends:)
